The best halal Chinese on the west coast bar none. Can’t go wrong with any of the delicious items on their menu

MA’s House is a Halal Chinese restaurant in Anaheim. The service is slow but the food is good . Large portions and moderate price. I liked the Mongolian ???????? beef and the fried rice . The fried rice isn’t too oily nor sticky. The overall smell of the place is good; no cooking odor .

It was a decent experience, but not quite as good as it was in past years. The mabo tofu was the best dish today for sure.

When it comes to great Chinese food, it takes flavor… The kind of flavor that kicks you in the mouth and you say thank you!! More please…. The food was hot, but lacked the flavor complexity I desire from great Chinese cuisine. The soup was a bit too thick for most of our liking, so most didn’t eat. The texture was very jellied or coagulated for soup. The Orange chicken was missing the signature orange flavor that is its namesake. The orange beef was really good and not fatty or chewy at all, but still missing the heat and flavor complexity of orange flavored dishes. The black pepper chicken with mushrooms was not bad and had a decent flavor compound. The white rice was good with great chew and bite and not a lot of sticky texture at all. The environment is lacking any real authentic feel, but open and clean. The pricing wasn’t bad and the service was fast. Over all, not a bad place… Will definitely give it another a try soon.

Distinct flavors from other Style of Chinese food. Quality and fresh ingredients and very clean plates and servingss were proportionate to the cost.We really enjoyed our meal. We don'tI get to come here often because it is over an hour and a half away, but when we do come over we do enjoy it

MAKANI GRILL is such a gem! This Egyptian inspired food truck and catering business has been serving the Hollywood community since June, 2023. The food is absolutely delicious and the customer service is second to none. I highly recommend their Shawarma plates (beef, chicken, or mixed). It comes with fresh basmati rice, lemon garlic hummus, and a traditional Egyptian salad (called salata Masriya)! MAKANI GRILL is vegetarian and vegan friendly. The meat is 100% Halal Premium cuts, with no GMO and no MSG. By the way, every single dish is prepared to order. Joanna, Bishoy (aka. Bizzy), and Driss are very kind, hospitable, generous and professional. I highly recommend this family owned business to anyone looking for authentic and fresh Egyptian cuisine at very affordable prices.
